PROMISES FOR NEW YEAR/2019

 
I’m feeling much better this week after my horrible cold and I have had time and 'returned-brain-function' (although my lovely husband refutes this assertion!!LOL) to reflect on 2018. Goodness me, so many clichés spring to mind such as, “Doesn’t time fly? “Where does the time go?” Predictable I know, but oh so true!

Apparently, last year I visited 10 different countries, 47 new cities and 130 places of interest, in foreign lands, which is amazing. I promise to continue to travel like this in 2019; to explore the rich contrasts offered by the diverse cultures in the world; available, obviously, in my price range!! LOL

I glanced back at my 2017 and 2018 blogs about New Year’s Resolutions and wasn’t surprised to see that I had not managed to keep one of them! So many of them long forgotten, so this year I promise not to have any. I promise to take each day, one step at a time and see where that takes me.

Oh! And I promise to try to remember to put my jumpers on, with the arms already pulled through, as this will save me a lot of time struggling!!!
