IT'S CHRISTMAS!

​I help out at a local  junior school every Thursday moring and today we looked at Christmas poems. I wrote a Christmas list acrostic poem.

                     What Christmas means to me!

  C   is for the candle which lights up the night.
  H   is for the holly with red berries bright.
  R   is for the reindeers flying through the air.                           
   I    is for the icy ground – be careful on the stair.
  S   is for the star above the manger bed.
  T   is for the tinsel strands silver, gold and red.
                                            M  is for the delicious, hot mince pies.
                                            A  is for the angelic host who filled up the night skies.
                                            S  is for Santa always full of good cheer.
