I don’t know about you but desserts in hotels abroad promise much but deliver little!
Every hotel that I have stayed in over the past five years whether it be in Spain, Greece or the Canaries, the dessert buffet looks scrumptious with so many different confectionaries to make my taste buds tingle!
However, when I actually taste them, they disappoint so much that I am left feeling deflated and cheated, as they are so bland and boring. The only patisserie that tastes even as it should taste is the one made out of chocolate. I mean you can’t really go wrong with a chocolate dessert now can you?
So what do I do about this? Well, thank goodness for tinned sliced peaches, vanilla and chocolate ice cream! This is my usually go to dessert when all the others fail!
