I have to admit that I got carried away with this challenge. I had to create a blacked out poem. This is an exercise which means that I had to take a piece of text and block out unnecessary words, leaving only those behind which, when put together, would make a poem. I did three at my first attempt but then realised that maybe quality would be better than quantity! I finished the activity, although I'm not too sure that my work is the best that I could produce. One to put away for now and maybe try again sometime in the future. The texts were taken from the leisure section of Saturday's Daily Mail. An interesting and enjoyable. challenge.
