My Lovely Husband: Not keen on the batter. It’s a bit too crispy for me. Dear Daughter Mine: I know what you mean. Mine could have had more fish inside it. Me: We should have asked for it to be lightly battered. We always say we’ll do that but never do. My Lovely Husband: The chips are crispy too. Dear Daughter Mine: I like them soggy and greasier like the ones we have from the local chippy. Me: I like them to stick to the grease proof paper, where you have to pull them off. My Lovely Husband: These mushy peas aren’t really mushy at all. Me: And the colour is too green! My Lovely Husband: Yeah! As we finished eating a waiter came to take away our EMPTY plates! He asked us if everything was alright with the meal. We all looked at him and smiled, “Fine we said together; very nice thank you!” As he walked away we looked at each other and couldn’t help but laugh! Thought for the day: It doesn’t matter if the glass is half empty or half full just be grateful that you have a glass at all and that there is something in it...
